HOW IT WORKS

As A Team Captain:

• Gather co-workers, family  members and friends - there is no limit on the number of walkers per team

• Register as a team and collect pledges from friends, family, business associates, and co-workers

• Celebrate your collections on Bank Day

• Come to Alton Baker Park on August 23, 2008 from 9:30 am till noon

• Enjoy food, live music, fun, games, prizes, and awards.

Spend the morning listening to great music, eating delicious food, playing games for prizes, and taking a short walk with old and new friends ~ all to celebrate your support of your local Special Olympics athletes

Walk so they can compete!

Walk for the Gold® is a non-competitive event that brings together participants of all ages from throughout the community to raise funds for Special Olympics Oregon—Eugene/Springfield. 

The Eugene/Springfield program currently offers 13 sports to more than 250 athletes in the course of a year.  All money donated during this fundraiser will remain in the local area benefiting local athletes.

Your help is greatly appreciated as we raise funds to continue the programs our athletes love so much.
